I need to find milliliters, which means that I need to isolate these liters here. Now if we can isolate them, I can change those liters into milliliters later on. To isolate them, I need to cancel out these equivalents here. So that tells me I need to convert grams here into equivalents. Remember, for a base, equivalence equals moles, well, actually equals n, which is the number of o h minus ions, times its moles. Calcium hydroxide has 2 o h's in it, so n is 2, and then all I have to do here is find its moles. So I'm going to take its point 73 grams of it, and I'm going to convert those grams into moles. So we have 1 calcium, 2 oxygens, and 2 hydrogens. Their combined mass is 74.096 grams from the periodic table, So that's 0.009852 moles. Take those moles and plug them over here, and we'll have the equivalents of calcium hydroxide. So that is 0.019704, equivalence. Now that I know the equivalents of calcium hydroxide, I can continue. So I'm gonna say 0.019704 equivalents of calcium hydroxide, and I'm gonna take this normality here. I want equivalents to cancel out, So I put them on the bottom. So 1.25 equivalents of calcium hydroxide on the bottom, 1 liter on top. And then all you need to do is change liters into milliliters. So remember 1 milli is 10 to the negative 3 liters, or you could say that 1 liter is a 1000 milliliters, same thing. So when I do that I'm gonna get at the end 16 milliliters. Here our answer has 2 sig figs because 0.73 has 2 sig figs in it.
