So because the ring structure has more carbons, it is going to be our parent chain and our per chain to be more specific is going to be Benzi because we have a six carbon ring with three double bonds inside. So now the second step deals with substituents, right. The next step is to find all groups attaching to the parent chain and name them and also locate them. So I can see here that I have two groups or substituents connecting to my benzene. Here, one of them is an oxygen connecting to the benzene ring that also is connected to an ethyl group. So here when it comes to naming my substituents recall that the position number is always placed before the name of the substituent. So that would be one dash oxy and three isopropyl. So now my last step and my final step is to go ahead and put everything together in an Iupac name, substituents are listed alphabetically before the name of the parent chain. So once again, oxy goes before isopropyl. So that's one dash, oxy dash three dash isopropyl Benzie with no space in between. And also notice how I'm using dashes to separate numbers from letters. And so my final iupac name would be one Epoxy three Isopropyl benzene, meaning that option C is the correct answer.
