Now, the first thing you wanna do when entering this value into a calculator is you want to make sure that the mode of the calculator is in radiance. Whenever you work with trigonometric functions, you wanna make sure that your mode is always in radiance. Now, when you enter this cosine value into a calculator, you're going to end up getting a, not a never ending decimal. The value of the decimal for cosine inverse of four or nine is given to us as 1. and so on. Now, the problem asks us that we want to keep three significant figures of this decimal. What this means is they want, we want to keep the first three non-zero values of the given decimal and the first non 30, the first three non-zero values of the decimal is going to be 1.11. So we're not going to need to round this value. Now, if we took a look at the digit to the right of one that value is zero, which means we're not going to change the last significant figure.
