Hello. Today we're going to be using the given measurements to determine the missing angle of a triangle. So the given measurements are 33.2 degrees, 58.3 degrees. And we want to use these two angles to find a missing angle X. Now recall that a triangle has a total of three angles. And the angle sum property for a triangle states that the sum of all three angles in a triangle will equal to degrees. So if we want to solve for a missing angle X, we can take the sum of the two known angles and the angle X and set it equal to 180 degrees. Doing so will give us the equation 33.2 degrees plus 58.3 degrees plus the unknown angle X is equal to 180 degrees. Now, what we wanna do is we wanna isolate X on the left hand side of the equation, we can start by adding 33.2 with 58. 33.2 plus 58.3 will give us a sum of 91.5. So we have 91.5 degrees plus the unknown angle X is equal to 180 degrees. Finally, in order to solve for X, we're going to subtract 91.5 degrees from both sides of the equation. Doing so will leave us with X is equal to 88.5 degrees. And this is going to be the measurement for the unknown angle of the triangle.
