Alright so to solve this two factor it we are going to take a look at the two sets the two sections that are being subtracted from one another. And we're going to ask ourselves is there anything that is a factor that is a multiple that's being multiplied. That occurs in both of those two sections. And yes this C plus D is a factor in both of those two sections. So we can factor it out, we can take a C plus D. And that's going to be multiplied by what's left which is 39 minus 13 A. Because C plus D gets multiplied by both the 39 the negative 13 A. Alright well the C. Plus D. There's nothing in the C. And the D. That we could factor out. They don't share anything in common. But looking at this 2nd 1, 39 negative 13 A. They do have something they have in common. So I'm going to actually bring this C. Plus D. To be on the right hand side so that we can factor something out of the minus 13 A. So what do those both have in common? Um 39 negative 13 are both divisible by 13 so we can factor a. 13 out. 39 divided by 13 is three. So that's what's left inside the parentheses here and -13 a divided by 13 leaves us with a negative a. And now looking inside our parentheses, this three and this negative A. They don't have anything left in common to factor out. So this is as factored as it's going to get. We look at our answer choices and this matches answer choice B.
