Hey everyone in this problem we are asked to perform the following matrix operation and the operation is A plus B. And the matrices were given R. A. Is equal to rho +1254. And row two negative +310 and B is equal to in row +11 negative +45 And row two negative +13 negative five. Okay, so these are two by three matrices and we are asked to do A plus B. Okay, so let's just go ahead and write this out in terms of our matrices. So A two negative three in the first column 51 in the 2nd 40. The third plus B 1 - -435 -5. Okay. All right. Now, what we're doing addition between two matrices, we want to first make sure that they're the same size. They have the same dimension. These ones do. So that's good. Okay, and then we're just adding each corresponding element. Okay, what I mean by that is we're going to end up with a matrix that's the same size as before. Okay. We're going to add the corresponding elements. So the first row, first column we're going to add to the first row. First column in B. Okay, So we're gonna get two plus one. Same thing for the second. Real first call of negative three Plus -1. Okay, so that's gonna go in that same position down here. Okay. And we do the same for all the rest of the elements. Okay, So we get five plus negative four one plus three four plus five and zero plus negative five. All right now we're getting this out. We're gonna have three negative four one four nine negative flight. And this is gonna be A plus B. And that's it for our matrix multiplication, or sorry? Our matrix addition. They were just adding elements together corresponding elements to get a matrix of the same size. Okay. And so the resulting matrix is going to be 22 rows, three columns. The first row is 319.
