And see if we can find a common term or a common factor that's gonna divide with this D minus nine. All right. So let's start by factoring the numerator. All right. When we factor this, we'll see that we can factor this as D plus 12 times D minus ninth. OK? And you can factor in whatever way you like to factor. And remember if you get stuck, um Factoring, you can always use your quadratic formula to figure out what the roots are. OK. And then work backwards from there. All right. So we have D plus 12 times D minus nine all divided by D minus nine. OK. And you'll see that we do have a common factor of D minus nine. We can divide that term out and we're left with D plus 12.
