Hello Today we're going to be solving the equation for X. So the equation given to us is 0.35 X minus 0.1 times 15 equal to 0.65 times the quantity X minus six. Now, in order to simplify the left hand side we just need to go ahead and multiply 0.1 with 15, multiplying these two quantities together is going to give us 1.5. So the left hand side simplifies to 0.35 X -1.5. And in order to simplify the right hand side, we're going to need to distribute 0.65 to the quantity X -6. Doing so is going to give us 0.65 x -3.9. Now in order to further simplify this, we can go ahead and add 3.9 to both sides of the equation. Doing so is going to give us 0. x plus 2.4 equal to 0.65 x. Now what I'm gonna do is go ahead and subtract 0.35 X from both sides of the equation. Doing so is going to leave me with 2.4 equal to 0.3 X. And in order to solve for X.
